What is Work and Travel?
Work and Travel is a cultural exchange program of the US National Department established in 1961, which allows full-time students from all parts of the world to work and travel in the USA during their summer holiday. The program provides a great opportunity not only to discover the American culture and way of life, but also to establish new relationships with people from all over the world. If you are:
- Full-time student
- Aged 18-28
- Your level of English is average or above

Then you can take advantage of the Work and Travel program and have a memorable summer in the USA. The maximum period of the program is 5 months, in which 4 of them you can work legally. The fifth month is dedicated to tourism, whereby you can visit some of the most popular places in the USA such as New York City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Niagara’s fall, Grand Canyon and even Hawaii, the Bahamas and the Caribbean Islands.
