Accommodation
In the Netherlands, students usually have private rooms. Depending on the house rented, students may share a bathroom, toilet, living room and kitchen with other students. It is advisable to check which utility bills are included in the rent, as this can have a big impact on the budget.
Finding accommodation in Rotterdam is one of the first things IHS students will need to arrange upon arrival. IHS offers the option of accommodation in the IHS residence on the college grounds.
Students are offered apartments equipped with basic furniture, providing comfort at reasonable prices. The kitchen, bathroom and toilet are shared with other students.
The IHS residence is located on the Erasmus University Rotterdam campus. IHS has about 66 rooms. In the residence, students have their own bedroom and a shared bathroom and kitchenette. All rooms are non-smoking. There is a laundry room in the building.
When the rooms in the IHS residence are full, IHS can accommodate students in off-campus residences. These also offer private rooms with shared bathrooms.
