Fontys University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest universities in the Netherlands. It has 40,000 students, 3,500 of whom come from more than 70 different countries. Most international students are enrolled in English-taught Bachelor's or Master's programs, which are often run jointly with partner universities around the world.
Although Fontys University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest higher education institutions in the Netherlands, classes are held in small groups, which allows each student to receive individual attention and have their progress monitored.
The curriculum is mainly practice-oriented. Students are taught by highly qualified lecturers in a variety of fields. Every student completes a professional internship, and studies conclude with a graduation project developed independently with companies from around the world.
