My second summer in America!

After telling you about my first American Work and Travel adventure in Wisconsin Dells, I'll share the next one, which was in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
I chose to go somewhere different because I wanted to try something new. I love the water and the beach, so I decided that this time it would be an ocean town. Myrtle Beach is a tourist destination for many people who come on vacation from different parts of America. The city is extremely beautiful and diverse, starting with the palm trees that are everywhere, the ocean that seems endless and the countless places where you can have fun.
My job was an extremely interesting and new thing for me. I was a photographer – I took photos of customers at various restaurants in the city and sold the photos. It was easy and pleasant work, not stressful, and I was constantly communicating with people, which helped me a lot to improve my English. As a second job, on my days off I worked at a clothing store, where it was a bit more boring, but my colleagues were nice and the time passed quickly.
Besides work, I had time for the beach and for going out and having fun with my colleagues and roommates. The summer flew by even faster than the previous one; we didn't want to leave Myrtle Beach.
For our trip this time we chose the West Coast – Las Vegas, Los Angeles and the Grand Canyon. Until then, visiting these places had been only a dream for me. What impressed me most was the Grand Canyon – majestic and beautiful; you see it in front of you and feel like you're dreaming or looking at a picture. In LA we visited the most famous places – the Hollywood Sign, the Walk of Fame and Universal Studios. It was exciting and fun ! I also visited Charleston, which is close to Myrtle Beach – a beautiful city with a lot of history.
Unfortunately, the whole summer fairy tale ended very quickly, and once again I couldn't wait for the next one – shortly after I got home, I signed up again for WAT 2017!
