When you hear the word America, many associations undoubtedly come to mind, the most common of which is probably the land of unlimited opportunities. And not without reason. America gives you endless opportunities, as long as you know how to take advantage of them and how to make them happen.
This year I spent an unforgettable summer in the USA, in the state of Maine, and I can definitely say that I regret missing the first 3 years of my studies and not embarking on the adventure called America sooner. When you set foot there, everything seems different. I was very impressed that from the moment I arrived, everyone greeted me with smiles and was ready to help in every way. I learned how to deal with difficulties on my own, how to be independent, and how to appreciate the chances life offers me.
America has many advantages over many other places for a student summer job. Only there, after the end of the work season, can you stroll through Times Square, take photos at Niagara Falls, find out why the famous saying "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" exists, or simply enjoy the beautiful beaches of Miami or the Bahamas. I couldn't describe my stay in the USA in just one word, because America is magic, experience, new acquaintances, travel and independence – and if you too want to experience all of this, my advice is not to hesitate and to do it as soon as possible.
