According to an NGB survey among students, the most desired destination for a student summer job in the 2016 season is the island of Nantucket.
Nantucket (or Nantucket Island) (in English: Nantucket) is an island 48.3 km (30 miles) south of Cape Cod in the state of Massachusetts, USA. Together with two smaller islands, it forms the town of the same name, Nantucket, which coincides with Nantucket County, Massachusetts. It was settled in 1641. It lies at an elevation of 9 m (30 feet) above sea level. Its population as of 2010 was 10,172. One of the major landmarks of Nantucket is its lighthouse, which was moved 32 m inland, away from the eroding cliff, after it was threatened with collapse.
Another unique attraction, found only in the New England region, is whale migration watching. The chance to have this incredible experience attracts tourists from all over the country.
