THE CITY
The summer language course takes place on the campus of the University of Sussex in Brighton. The city is one of the most famous seaside resorts in England, full of history and cultural landmarks, and located close to London. One of the city's best-known historic landmarks is the Royal Pavilion, whose beautiful architecture attracts millions of tourists from all over the world.
THE SCHOOL
Students have access to modern classrooms with interactive whiteboards, a comfortable residence hall, sports fields, a dining hall and more. The course intensity is 20 lessons per week. On the first day of the course, participants take a placement test.
In addition to English lessons, the school offers a variety of sports and non-sports activities that vary from week to week, such as treasure hunts, talent shows, movie nights, karaoke, games, quizzes and more. Sports activities may include rugby, cricket, volleyball, basketball, soccer and many others.
On the day of arrival, a welcome party is organized for the students, and on the last day there is a camp graduation ceremony and a disco.
Every week there are excursions to various places that are entertaining, cultural, educational... or all three!
ACCOMMODATION
Students stay in the university residence hall in single rooms. Single rooms with a private bathroom are also available. Meals are on a full-board basis.
