It's no secret that despite the desire and ability of many students to study in the UK, concerns about covering tuition costs stop many of them from applying to university. That's exactly why Northumbria University has announced a competition for a one-year full scholarship for EU students. The university will award five full scholarships covering tuition for the first year. The only thing students will have to take care of is their additional living expenses.
Those wishing to apply must record a 30-second video explaining why they are choosing Northumbria University in particular and why they are suitable candidates.
The university also offers a £2,000 scholarship for students from EU member states who meet specific academic criteria and have enrolled in a full-time bachelor's degree. The requirement for Bulgarian students is to have graduated from secondary school with a GPA above 5.60. The scholarship will be paid in three installments: 25% in November 2017, 25% in February 2018 and 50% in May 2018.
For anyone who wants to continue their education in the UK, this is an amazing opportunity and would be the first big step on the road to a successful career!
The application deadline is January 10, 2017. For more information, contact the NGB team!
