The Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) is an organization that provides small grants to teams of past and current U.S. exchange program participants for public-service projects in which they can apply what they learned during their program – both skills and knowledge.
AEIF's themes for 2018 are:
- Economic prosperity
- Building civic engagement, good governance and resilient communities
- Advancing science, technology, health and innovation
- Empowering women and girls who lack equal rights
- Promoting the inclusion of minorities and educational opportunities for them
If you have taken part in the Work and Travel program or another exchange program organized by the U.S. government, and you have an idea and the desire to develop a project aimed at the development of society, you have the chance to make it happen and turn it into reality.
Put together a team of like-minded people who have taken part in an exchange program or are U.S. residents, and submit your project proposal along with the budget needed to carry it out.
Send your projects to the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund between March 1 and March 29

Good luck to all participants, and may the best one win!
