7 Tips for Your Transatlantic Flight

1. Pack as few things as possible – you really don't need 10 pairs of jeans, 6 pairs of boots and an iron. If you follow the airline's requirements and your luggage is up to 23 kg, you won't have to pay extra, and it will be easier to get around.

2. It doesn't matter how you look on the plane – what matters is being dressed comfortably and warmly, because it's cold on the plane. A scarf and a jacket would be a good choice. We don't recommend traveling in a T-shirt and sandals.
3. Bring earplugs – silence is golden, so earplugs are a very good choice, since it can sometimes be very noisy on the plane.
4. Avoid alcohol and coffee – a drink or a cup of coffee feels good to anyone, but these beverages disrupt sleep, won't let you rest and will dehydrate you.
5. Fully charge your electronic devices – airports very often check the devices you carry. If they have no battery or cannot be switched on, they may be confiscated.
6. Bring your own headphones – you can't be sure whether the headphones you use on the plane are new or have simply been repackaged from the previous flight.
7. If you are claustrophobic or afraid of heights, don't sit by the window. Choose an aisle seat. If you get airsick, take medication with you. The flight is long.
