SUMMER SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS WITH ITALIAN LANGUAGE STUDY IN LIGNANO
Linguaviva Educational Group opened its first school in Florence in 1976 with the idea of encouraging not just the study of Italian but also an understanding of Italian culture and history. The center works with schools in Florence, Milan, Lignano, Shanghai and Tokyo
The school in Lignano is surrounded by a pine forest and has a private beach and a huge sports complex offering activities such as swimming, basketball, volleyball and football. The school offers full board with rooms of 2-4 beds with a private bathroom and toilet. The location offers a unique opportunity to combine learning with fun.
The language program in Lignano offers Italian lessons suitable for young people aged 12-18.
A balanced program that includes:
- Italian language study - the lessons aim to improve listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing. There are 20 lessons per week, 4 lessons a day from Monday to Saturday. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes. The course lasts no less than 2 weeks, with a maximum of 12 students per class, and covers levels from beginner to advanced.
- sports under the supervision of a coach (tennis, classic and beach football, classic and beach volleyball, swimming, basketball, skating)
- creative activities in free time - cooking classes, karaoke with Italian songs, contributing to a school newspaper written and edited by the students;
- entertainment - evening walks around town, discos, beach games and picnics;
- organized excursions - walks around the Lignano area and a weekly full-day excursion to Venice, Verona, Gardaland, Trieste.
