Azurlingua was one of the first schools to receive the "Quality French Language Teaching" label in 2007 and has successfully retained the title ever since. There are 4 French programs, from which you can choose the one that suits you best.
Standard:
- 20 lessons per week - 15 hrs/week; Groups of up to 15 students;
- Placement test to determine the appropriate level – Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced;
- Teachers use dynamic and interactive teaching methods;
- Certificate issued upon completion of the course;
- Weekly excursions.
Intensive:
- 26 lessons per week – 19.5 hrs/week;
- Groups of up to 12 students;
- Teachers use dynamic and interactive teaching methods;
- Placement test to determine the appropriate level – Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced;
- Study of grammar and vocabulary building, as well as preparation for several exams - Abitur, Maturita, A level exams or DELF;
- Study materials and a certificate issued upon completion of the course;
- Weekly excursions.
Combined program:
- 20 + 5/8/10 individual lessons or 15 exam preparation lessons per week;
- Groups of up to 14 students;
- Placement test to determine the appropriate level – Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced;
- Teachers use dynamic and interactive teaching methods;
- Combining group and individual lessons, this course is recommended for students who wish to study specific topics, benefit from personalized language training or prepare optimally for exams (Abitur, Matura, A Level, Maturita, DELF ...);
- A certificate is issued upon completion of the course;
- Weekly excursions.
Sports program (scuba diving, tennis or sailing):
- 20 French lessons per week - 15 hrs/week;
- Placement test to determine the appropriate level – Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced;
- Teachers use dynamic and interactive teaching methods;
- 5 half-day diving/tennis/sailing lessons per week. Diving lessons take place at the "Poseidon" club, located in the port of Nice. A medical examination/certificate is required. The nautical club for sailing lessons is also located in the port of Nice. Participants are supervised by professional instructors, and equipment is included. A medical certificate is required to participate;
- A certificate is issued upon completion of the course.
Possible excursion destinations:
The destinations are: Vieux-Nice, Villefranche, Beaulieu, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Grasse, Eze Village, Menton, Cannes and the Lerins Islands, Saint-Tropez, Monaco (Monte Carlo). Transportation is usually by train or private coach.
Collinette Center – single room, dates: 30.06.2019 to 10.08.2019
Located very close to the city center and the beach, this center has 235 rooms, a vending machine area, computers, a TV room and public telephones, and a Wi-Fi zone. All single rooms have a sink, private shower, luggage space and a desk.
Estienne d'Orves Center - twin or triple room, dates 23.06.2019 to 17.08.2019
Close to the city center, this residence is a true camp – completely secure, safe and quiet – creating excellent conditions for learning French and meeting other students taking part in the program. Students have a courtyard where they can relax, play sports and take part in cultural activities. Every 2 bedrooms share 1 private bathroom.
Parc Imperial Center – each room accommodates 3-4 students, dates 30.06.2019 to 17.08.2019
It is located in a quiet neighborhood, a 15-minute walk from the beach and 20 minutes from the city center. In summer, Parc Imperial can accommodate 140 students. It has its own classrooms, a cafe and sports facilities. All rooms have a private bathroom and toilet.
