Downtown Miami is only about 8 miles away, and famous South Beach is 10 minutes away. Public transportation offers bus lines that connect the beach areas with downtown Miami. The Plus program campus is located at Barry University in Miami Shores. It has a typical tropical design with palm trees and sports facilities such as soccer fields and tennis courts. The swimming pool is right in front of the residence halls and can be used daily by students. The accommodation is a 5-minute walk from the dining hall and a 10-minute walk from the classrooms. Public buses stop at the university, connecting students with the beaches and downtown Miami.
