Italian Language School OrbitLingua (ILS)
Founded in 2002, OrbitLingua is a dynamically growing Italian school specializing in teaching Italian to foreign students. The school guarantees high-quality services and a friendly atmosphere, and meets all of its students' needs. In addition, the school organizes a varied program of extracurricular activities, including workshops, excursions and special evenings, which give foreign students the chance to discover the many aspects of Italian culture.
Location
The town of Orbetello lies on the coast of Tuscany, in the Maremma area, less than two hours from Rome, Venice and Pisa. The amazing views around Monte Argentario reveal breathtaking landscapes. Off the coast of Monte Argentario, less than an hour away by ferry, are the islands of Giglio and Giannutri with their crystal-clear water and transparent seabed, which offer visitors an unforgettable experience.
The summer courses are specially designed for teenagers aged 13 to 17. This course combines fun Italian lessons with a program of cultural and sports activities, visits and excursions, supervised by the teachers. This gives students the chance to get to know Italian culture.
The program includes:
- 20 Italian lessons per week (1 lesson = 55 minutes);
- Half-board accommodation with a host family;
- Lunch at the center, including traditional Italian dishes;
- 3 afternoons at the beach, including sports activities;
- 1 half-day excursion per week;
- 1 full-day excursion per week;
- 1 cultural activity per week;
- Supervision and care by the teachers;
- Placement test and study materials;
- Certificate of participation.
Accommodation
Every student is guaranteed to stay with a carefully selected, friendly host family. All host families live no more than 5-10 minutes from the school.
Program price:
- 2 weeks – €1,400;
- 3 weeks – €2,100;
- 4 weeks – €2,700.
Transfer from Fiumicino Airport in Rome is €100 each way.
