Mount Kelly is a private school founded in 1877. It is located on the outskirts of the town of Tavistock, Devon, in southwest England, at the very edge of Dartmoor National Park. The town's shopping area is easily and safely accessible, a 5-minute walk from the school. The school has stunning views and is set amid vast green grounds.
Summer school programs
Groups consist of a maximum of 15 students of different nationalities. The classrooms are large and equipped with modern facilities. Students are tested on arrival and at the end of their course to check their progress. Tuition is 15 hours per week. The course provides its own textbook, which is given to each student. It is designed with an emphasis on communication and discussion of current topics. A certificate of attendance and a teacher's report are prepared for each student.
Excursions and other activities
One full-day and one half-day excursion per week.The excursions are specially organized with a cultural and educational focus and are accompanied by specially trained language camp staff.
Other leisure activities offered by the language camp include arts and crafts, games, quizzes, organized discos, team challenges and more.

Accommodation
Accommodation is on the school campus. Rooms have 2 to 6 beds with shared bathrooms. The residential blocks where students stay have common rooms for relaxation, rest and games. Entry to the residences is by security code, and blocks or floors are separated by gender. Students have a curfew at 10:30 p.m. and wake-up at 7:30 a.m.
Meals
Students will eat only fresh food sourced from local suppliers. There is a choice of main course (meat or fish / vegetarian), as well as a salad bar with vegetables and a choice of dessert. Packed meals are provided for excursions.
