Every summer, students from all over the world join the Oxford Royale summer schools, where over two weeks participants have the opportunity to study their chosen subjects in greater depth than ever before. Tuition is 20+ hours per week. A variety of cultural activities and excursions to Britain's historic landmarks are organized, as well as debates with leaders, politicians, academics and businesspeople.
Introduction to Law Course
The summer law course for students aged 13-15 is perfect for students who want to pursue further study or a career in the field. Over two weeks of interactive learning and discussion, students begin their journey into law, with the course focusing on providing a theoretical foundation in the discipline. Students are introduced to many legal areas, including jurisprudence, constitutional law and criminal law. A group project is also prepared, giving students the opportunity to develop key skills for starting a career in law. They are given tasks that help them assess whether they are suited to such a profession in the future – discussions, role plays, exams and case studies.
Accommodation, meals, tuition, a cultural program and a certificate are provided. Groups have a maximum of 15 students, with a minimum of 20 hours of tuition per week.
Accommodation:
Students stay in comfortable single or twin rooms – girls and boys are housed separately. Regular university students also live in the residence, so participants get a taste of what it could be like to become students at the university themselves. Bathrooms are usually shared by students of the same gender, and some rooms have private bathrooms.
