The ASTUR language center organizes an international summer camp with German, English and French classes in Diez. ASTUR offers high-quality tuition combined with interesting cultural, sports and leisure activities. It provides full-board residence accommodation, which gives participants the chance to communicate with friends from all over the world.
The modern language center where classes take place is located in a historic castle on a hill above the River Lahn. It offers cozy study facilities and a place to relax. The various activities take place at the castle, and the residence accommodation is also in the castle.
German and English courses run throughout the summer, while French is offered only between July 27 and August 22. Complete beginners are not admitted to these courses.
The program includes:
- 20 lessons per week (4 lessons a day of 45 min)
- Study materials
- Placement test
- Certificate of completion
- Residence accommodation – equipped with board games, WiFi, table tennis, a restaurant, bar, bistro, terrace and an outdoor barbecue area.
- Full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- 1 full-day excursion
- Afternoon program – sports, theater, art
- Evening events
- Cultural and social program
- 24-hour supervision and support from the language center
Optional:
- Canoeing – canoeing down the River Lahn with a coach who shows tricks such as turning and steering, for a fee of EUR 45 per week
- Diving – diving to the bottom of the lake with a qualified instructor for a fee of EUR 50 per week
The language course is organized at 4 levels:
- Beginners (A1)
- Lower Intermediate (A2)
- Intermediate (B1)
- Upper Intermediate (B2)
