The Merchiston Castle summer camp offers 24-hour care and supervision and is one of the best boarding schools in the United Kingdom. The campus is set on 100 acres of land within a beautiful park and is close to the city center. It has some of the most diverse tree species in Scotland and stands on the site of the ruins of 13th-century Colinton Castle.
