Anglophiles Academic is a language center that offers summer camps and language courses abroad. It has been on the market for almost 40 years, organizing English language courses in the UK, France, Ireland, the USA, Canada, China and other countries. Its mission is to provide high-quality teaching and valuable experience for young people – to introduce them to new challenges and enrich their lives with emotion and enjoyment. The center offers creative and interesting programs in several UK towns – Bury, King's Lynn, Luton, Milton Keynes, Nothingham, Peterborough, Plymouth, Spalding and Wisbech. The choice of study location depends on availability at the respective center and the program selected.
English & Adventure Sports is a summer program held in July and August. It includes 24 hours of English for the entire stay, afternoon activities and excursions. Students' English level is assessed with a test on the first day, after which they are placed in groups of 12-16 people. The teacher adapts the materials and teaching techniques to the individual needs of each group. The course includes studying articles, role plays, games, discussions, the use of idioms, and learning grammar and vocabulary related to the sports the students take part in. Special emphasis is placed on speaking and listening. The center's goal is to make everyday communication in English effective.
Sports activities include parachuting, snowboarding, skiing, trampolining, rock climbing, water skiing, high ropes, go-karting and more. There are 2 full-day excursions; those to Bristol, Manchester and Liverpool include a tour of the local tourist and shopping attractions. The other excursion is to an amusement park.
Students stay with specially selected English families who provide 3 meals a day.
