Experience English is a language center made up of highly qualified schools in 4 of the most impressive locations in the UK. They have an unconventional teaching style that extends beyond the classroom to immerse you in the history, culture and life of each destination.
Manchester Academy of English has been offering English courses since 1991. The school provides first-class teaching and academic support. It is located in the center of one of the most interesting and exciting cities in the UK, which makes it an appealing summer destination. The center places an emphasis on a variety of activities outside the classroom, cultural events and excursions.
Types of Programs:
- Young Learners Experience – for children who want to improve their English while having fun and meeting new friends, and who prefer a variety of activities.
- Young Learners Culture – for children who want to improve their English while discovering the city's cultural wealth and heritage, and who prefer sightseeing to other activities or sports.
- Young Learners Intensive – for children who want to reach a higher level of academic English; who want to use the language in discussions, debates and role plays; who also prefer sightseeing to other activities or sports; and whose level of English is at least B1.
- Young Learners Sports – for children who want to improve their English but also want to improve their skills in a particular sport.
What to expect:
- 6- or 7-day program
- 15 hours of English per week (21 hours for the Intensive program)
- A maximum of 15 students per class from different nationalities
- Preparation for the Trinity College London exam, as well as the exam itself at the end of the stay
- Certificate and academic report at the end of the course
- One full-day excursion per week
- At least one half-day excursion per week
- A full evening program with various activities.
Accommodation:
- Residences on the University of Manchester campus with breakfast, lunch and dinner provided. 2 to 6 beds per room with shared bathroom.
- With a local host family that provides at least 2 meals a day. The room is usually shared with another international student. A limited number of single rooms is available on request.
Course start dates:
- June 28; July 5, 12, 19, 26; August 2, 9, 16, 23.
- Arrival is always on a Sunday.
