The Boston summer language center is located in the beautiful Pine Manor botanical garden neighborhood, set on 60 acres, just 20 minutes from downtown Boston. The city is famous for its professional sports teams and world-class universities. Kings Summer in Boston is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training.
Participants can choose between 2 different language programs in Boston, depending on their language level and interests.
"Vacation Extra" course:
- 15 hours of English lessons per week;
- a full program - sports, leisure activities, excursions;
- 1 full-day and three half-day excursions per week.
Length: 1 - 4 weeks (1-week bookings are accepted only for July 1 or July 29)
Start dates: 1.07; 8.07; 15.07; 22.07
"American University Taster" course:
- 15 hours of English lessons per week;
- lectures, discussions and lessons from university professors;
- visits to world-famous universities such as MIT and Harvard;
- 1 full-day and three half-day excursions per week;
- evening events.
Length: 2 weeks (1-week bookings are accepted only for July 1 or July 29)
Start dates: 1.07-14.07; 15.07- 28.07.
Minimum English level: Intermediate.
Participants can use:
- beautiful wooded grounds of 60 acres, ideal for walks;
- student common rooms for leisure and relaxation;
- a basketball court and a softball field;
- an American football field and tennis courts.
Half-day excursions may include:
- Freedom Trail
- Duck tour
- Skywalk Observatory
- Shopping trip
- China Town
- Boston Common
The full-day excursions include:
- Newport Mansions
- Wrentham Village Premium Outlets
- Salem
- Hampton Beach.
Accommodation:
Accommodation is in double rooms with modern shared bathrooms (6 people share one) and lounges on every floor. Girls and boys are housed in separate buildings or on different floors. Accommodation is on a full-board basis, and during excursions young people will be provided with packed lunches or meal vouchers. Vegetarian or other dietary requirements can be accommodated on request.
Boston Logan International is the closest airport to the center.
