Italian Culture Courses

The Lorenzo de' Medici Institute is one of the most renowned language training centers in Italy. Groups are kept relatively small, with no more than 12 people, so that every learner can take an active part in the activities. The emphasis is on discussions and role plays, which help students build on what they have learned and enrich their vocabulary. Learning a foreign language is closely tied to the culture of the country, which is why the courses include an introduction to Italian literature, music and cinema. Visits to local shopping streets and universities are also organized, where students have the opportunity to talk with locals.

Lorenzo de' Medici also runs specialized courses related to Italian culture (history, art, tourism, etc.). A certain level of language proficiency is required, as the courses are taught entirely in Italian. Students can study for a semester – February to May or September to December – or take a summer course in June and July, depending on their preferences.
