The Lorenzo de’ Medici Institute is one of the most renowned language training centers in Italy. Groups are relatively small, with no more than 12 people, so that every learner can take an active part in the tasks. Emphasis is placed on discussions and role plays, which help learners build on what they have learned and enrich their vocabulary. Learning a foreign language is directly linked to the culture of the country, which is why the courses include an introduction to Italian literature, music and cinema. Visits to local shopping streets and universities are also organized, where students have the chance to talk with locals.
These courses are designed for those who have specific requirements regarding the level and overall training. An individual program is created according to the learner's goals. Learners choose the time of their lessons themselves, and they also have the option to join visits to historical sights.
Courses in various professional fields are also available for more advanced applicants.
Prices: 1 hr. (50 min.) for 1 person: €45;
1 hr. (50 min) for 2 people: €70 (the price per person is €35, but both students are required to have the same level of language proficiency).
Graduates receive a Certificate from Lorenzo de’ Medici for successfully completing the course.
