ENGLISH SUMMER CAMP IN WESTONBIRT
Xplore offers adventure-filled language training and summer camps in the UK. The center has almost 30 years of experience. One of the destinations where the center offers study programs is Westonbirt.
Westonbirt is located in the beautiful county of Gloucestershire – home to many members of the royal family, one of whom is Prince Charles. Students will feel like royalty themselves at Westonbirt, because it resembles a castle. Suitable for children aged 12–16, it is an ideal destination that gives you the chance not only to improve your language skills but also to live through an unforgettable adventure.
Younger students are accommodated in the main building in rooms with 4–6 beds. Older students live in single, double or triple rooms in the neighboring house. The place is an amazing combination of old and new. The main building is steeped in history, while at the same time it is equipped with many modern facilities. There is a modern sports hall with an indoor swimming pool, outdoor tennis courts and golf, a computer room, dance, fitness and an arts studio. Some of the more unusual activities include ATV riding, archery, crate climbing and much more. The evening program includes discos, talent shows, campfires and more. The fun is simply endless, and Westonbirt will not fail to impress you. Full board is included, as well as vegetarian meals on request.
English lessons include 20 hours of instruction per week (4 sessions of 45 minutes, 5 days a week). All materials are provided by the center. On completing the course, students receive a certificate.
Excursions to London, Oxford, the Roman Baths, Cardiff and Cheddar Gorge (the largest gorge in England) are included – 3 full-day excursions for a 2-week stay, 5 for a 3-week stay.
This location also offers a Football Academy program, which aims to improve students' technical, tactical, physical and mental skills. The course offers 3 hours of training a day led by UEFA-licensed football coaches. A special excursion to the national stadium of Wales – Millennium Stadium is included.
