The best way to learn a language is through full immersion in it. Studying English in England, surrounded by English people and their culture, is the most effective way to refine your accent. Language lessons are taught by qualified and experienced teachers.
They focus on providing core knowledge of grammar, writing, reading and vocabulary, and are designed to help learners improve their communication skills in everyday English.
The school has a wide range of learning materials and modern teaching methodology and technology to ensure that learning is effective. It also offers a conversation club to help learners perfect the art of informal communication.
Accommodation:
There is a choice of modern, comfortably furnished residences in the center of Bournemouth, or accommodation with a carefully selected host family, which offers 100% English immersion.
Socializing: Cavendish offers many events and excursions that encourage interaction with other learners and provide an opportunity to explore this part of England. Bournemouth is a fun town to stay in. A wide variety of events take place all year round, with more nightlife than West London. Lessons are always held in the morning, so in the afternoon you can study, go to the beach or visit a cafe. You can also book a guided excursion organized by the school, with prices starting from 8 GBP.
On-site facilities: 30 classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards, an internet room, free Wi-Fi throughout the campus, multimedia devices, an events hall for movies, discos, karaoke and parties; a large, modern and beautiful conservatory, a cafeteria serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, barbecue, air-conditioned public areas and landscaped gardens.
- Valletta Center, Malta
English is one of the two official languages of Malta – a legacy of 164 years of British Empire rule. Malta is an ideal place to combine a Mediterranean vacation with language study. It is a remarkable European island located south of Italy and a popular tourist destination thanks to its strategic location. Malta has become an ideal destination for language schools over the past decades, as English is an official language on the island. The school's center is located in the heart of the capital.
On-site facilities:
The school is located in a historic house in Valletta, built in 1900. It has been fully renovated and is very impressive, having once been the home of a wealthy businessman. The rooms are air-conditioned and have natural light all year round, audiovisual equipment, a bookstore, an internet cafe, Wi-Fi, elevators, a cozy cafe and a lounge area.
Accommodation:
Malta has a wide variety of 5-star hotels and family-run hostels. Accommodation can also be with a host family. This gives students additional English practice outside the classroom. The University of Malta also offers accommodation, with 7/8-room houses available. Each house has 5 bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. Each room can be shared by two people.
Courses:
General English – the course is designed for learners of almost all levels who want to gain a good foundation in the language across various areas.
In addition to grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing, the main goal of the courses is to help students communicate well in everyday situations. This course is for everyone who wants to learn English and for all age groups. The oldest student so far was 85 years old!
