ENGLISH COURSES IN CANADA, THE USA AND IRELAND
The CISS office in Canada is located in Toronto, near the largest and most important tourist airport. CISS - now a leader in the Canadian camp industry - was founded in 1979. The founder of CISS was among the first to launch language camp programs for students from all over the world. They offer a number of summer programs:
Swallowdale Camp
- Located in beautiful Muskako, Ontario, the camp is the perfect choice for fun, games and sports.
- Age: 7-15
- Duration: 2-4 weeks
- English: 10 hours per week
- Evening program: campfires, dancing, cooking, games, sports challenges and much more
- Activities: water sports (canoeing, kayaking, fishing, boating, swimming, windsurfing), field games (archery, field hockey, basketball, mountain biking, football, tennis, volleyball), special programs (arts and crafts, guitar, outdoor survival, yoga) and much more.
- Excursions: 1 excursion every 2 weeks to Huntsville, optional excursions to Niagara and Canada's Wonderland.
- Accommodation: In cabins for 8-12 students; each cabin has a toilet, electricity and a sink; showers are central and shared.
Lakefield Camp
- For more than 30 summers, Lakefield Camp has been helping create unforgettable moments.
- Age: 9-16
- Duration: 2-4 weeks
- English program: General English course – 10 hours per week; Intensive English course – 15 hours per week
- Program Wilderness Education Programme – wilderness survival programs (building a shelter, fishing with improvised gear, learning about flora and fauna and more); 10 hours per week
- Tennis course program – 10 hours per week;
- Program consisting only of Recreational Activities
- Evening program: campfires, arts and crafts, dancing, social games, a talent show and much more
- Activities: water sports (canoeing, kayaking, boating, swimming lessons, windsurfing), field games (archery, basketball, mountain biking, football, tennis, beach volleyball), special programs (arts and crafts, guitar or percussion, dramatic arts, theater) and much more.
- Excursions: 1 excursion every 2 weeks to Toronto, optional excursions to Niagara and Canada's Wonderland.
- Accommodation: In a school residence with double and triple rooms and showers on every floor. Each room has a bed, a desk and a wardrobe. Full board included.
Boston
- Age: 12-17
- Duration: 2-4 weeks
- English program: General English course – 15 hours per week
- Preparation program for TOEFL – 15 hours per week; entry level – High Intermediate or Advanced
- Evening program: indoor movies, sports challenges, dancing, social games, a talent show and much more
- Activities: basketball, tennis, football, volleyball, arts, guitar, dancing and more
- Additional activities: bowling, cinema, ice skating, laser tag, roller skating and more.
- Excursions: 2 excursions per week to Cape Cod, Museum of Fine Arts, Harvard University, Six Flags Amusement Park and more
- Accommodation: In a school residence with double and triple rooms and showers on every floor. Each room has a bed, a desk and a wardrobe. Full board included.
St Michael's
- Age: 13-17
- Duration: 2-4 weeks
- English program: General English course – 20 hours per week (18 in the classroom and 2 in English-focused workshops)
- Intensive English program – 25 hours per week (20 hours of the standard program; 5 hours of additional lessons focusing on pronunciation, idioms and vocabulary, academic English, and oral presentation).
- Evening program: board games, crazy races, capture the flag, dancing, a magic show and much more
- Activities: swimming, yoga, Pilates, fitness, mini golf, paintball, go-karting, canoeing and more
- Excursions: 1 full-day excursion to Niagara, Canada's Wonderland, Wasaga Beach; 1 half-day excursion to CN Tower, Disco Boat Cruise and more; and 1 arts excursion per week to the Art Gallery of Ontario, Royal Ontario Museum, Gardiner Museum of Ceramics, Local Toronto Festivals

CISS at Trinity
- Age: 14-18
- Duration: 2-4 weeks
- English program: General English course – 20 hours per week (18 in the classroom and 2 in English-focused workshops)

- English program: General English course – 15 hours
- Specialized workshops – special workshops 3 afternoons a week in fashion design, fitness and yoga, hip hop dance, photography, sports and world cuisine
- Evening program: Discos, karaoke, social games, sports competitions, a talent show and barbecues.
- Activities: Fitness, swimming, independent sightseeing with a friend, local festivals and more
- Excursions: 2 full-day excursions to the Lachine Canal, La Ronde Six Flags Amusement Park, Montréal Biodôme and more; 1 half-day excursion to Art Museums, Marché Jean-Talon Rall, McCord History Museum and more; 1 arts evening per week: African Nights, Circus Fest, Chinatown, Jazz Festival and more

Newtown, Ireland
- Age: 11-17
- Duration: 2-4 weeks
- English program: General English course – 15 hours per week

- Activities: Aerobics, badminton, basketball, cricket, rugby, tennis, swimming, volleyball, football and more
- Excursions: 1 full-day excursion to Waterford City, Cork City and Blarney Castle, Dublin City Experience, Kilkeny City and Dunmore Cave; 1 half-day excursion to Dunmore Adventure Centre, Kilkenny Castle, Dunbrody Emigrant Ship, Tramore Beach

Summer Homestay San Francisco
