Anglophiles Academic is a language center that offers summer camps and language training abroad. It has been on the market for almost 40 years and organizes English language courses in the UK, France, Ireland, the USA, Canada, China and other countries. Its mission is to provide high-quality teaching and valuable experience for young people, to introduce them to new challenges and to enrich their lives with excitement and enjoyment.
Discover United Kingdom & Ireland is a summer program that takes place in July and August. It offers an amazing opportunity to improve your English while discovering the wonders of the UK and Ireland.
The different cities and their sights:
- London – a night walk around London including Piccadilly and Leicester Square, Tower Bridge. Visits to major landmarks such as Big Ben, Westminster, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, Camden Town, Covent Garden, Tate Modern Art Museum, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and many more.
- Cardiff – discover the capital of Wales; visit Cardiff Castle – the castle with a 2,000-year history, and more.
- Dublin – a visit to the Guinness factory, the Temple Bar district, the River Liffey and more.
- Liverpool – Maritime and Slave Museum, Albert Docks, Beatles Museum, and on the way to Glasgow a visit to the Lake District.
- Glasgow – Riverside Museum, a walk around the university district, which dates back to 1451.
- Edinburgh – a visit to the castle, a walk to the main sights including the parliament, galleries and parks. A tour of haunted places.
Language tuition includes 21 hours of English for the whole stay. Students' level is assessed on arrival, after which they are placed in groups of 12-16 people. The teacher adapts materials and teaching techniques to the individual needs of each group. Special emphasis is placed on speaking and listening. The center's goal is to make everyday communication in English effective.
Students stay in youth hostels with 3 meals a day included.
