The New York summer language camp held at Concordia College is located in Bronxville. And although it may look like a village, it is only 30 minutes by train from Grand Central Station and the excitement and bustle of New York City.
The program is designed to improve your English while offering a rich variety of sports, activities and excursions to help you enjoy your summer vacation. You will have the chance to make friends from all over the world and learn about their cultures, all in the safe and secure environment of the campus.
What the course includes:·
- 15 hours of English instruction per week, held over 3 days;
- a full program of sports and leisure activities;
- 3 full-day excursions per week.
Participants can use:
- Dining hall;
- Lounges for leisure and relaxation;
- Indoor basketball court;
- Sports facilities suitable for various sports;
- Beach volleyball court;
- Wireless internet throughout the center.
Excursions include visits to New York sights such as:
- The Statue of Liberty;
- Central Park;
- Times Square;
- The Empire State Building;
- and many more.
Accommodation:
Accommodation is in double rooms with modern shared bathrooms and lounges on every floor. Girls and boys are separated by room or by floor. Accommodation is on a full-board basis, and during excursions young people will be provided with packed lunches or meal vouchers. Vegetarian or other dietary requirements can be accommodated on request.
JFK, La Guardia and Newark airports are less than 1 hour away by bus or taxi.
