Anglophiles Academic is a language center that offers summer camps and language courses in the UK, France, Ireland, the USA, Canada, China and other countries. Its mission is to provide high-quality teaching and valuable experience for young people – to introduce them to new challenges and enrich their lives with emotion and enjoyment.
Club 5 & Multi-activities/Club 5 & Horse Riding is a spring and summer program (April, July and August) that offers a mix of language study, varied entertainment and excursions. It takes place in the town of Mallow – a small, beautiful country town 48 km from Cork. The people in the town are exceptionally warm and welcoming.
The language course includes 12 hours of morning language lessons per week. Students' level is assessed on arrival, after which they are placed in groups of 12-16 people. The teacher adapts the materials and teaching techniques to the individual needs of each group. Special emphasis is placed on speaking and listening. The center's goal is to make everyday communication in English effective.
The program has 2 options:
- Club 5 & Multi-activities – various sports such as swimming, tennis, badminton, table tennis, squash, etc.; indoor activities such as bowling, ice skating, etc. One full-day excursion each week and walks around the area are included.
- Club 5 & Horse Riding – 6 sessions of 2 hours each: schooling, riding, improving technique, and caring for and grooming the horse. In the afternoons there are various activities and sports. One full-day excursion each week is included.
Students stay with specially selected Irish families who provide 3 meals a day.
