Children's and Teen Adventure Programs – Oxford

These programs take place in the summer on the campus of Wychwood boarding school. They are designed for children aged 11 to 17. Students come from all over the world to study, have fun and make new friends. The programs combine English lessons, various activities and excursions, all under the constant supervision of staff.

The program price includes:

  • Accommodation in residences with private bathrooms;
  • Full board;
  • 20 English lessons per week, all study supplies, notebooks, tests and certificates of course participation;
  • Daily afternoon activities in sports, arts and crafts;
  • Excursions to London, Stratford, Warwick Castle and more;
  • Camp staff available 24/7;
  • Internet access.

Emergency travel insurance and airport fees are not included in the price.

Accommodation:

  • Safety is considered one of the most important aspects of the program, and the staff make every effort to give students a wonderful experience while keeping them safe.
  • The campus where students stay is a few minutes' walk from public transportation and the city center.
  • The camp has a tennis court, basketball and volleyball courts, and other indoor facilities.
  • Students do not leave the camp without a staff escort or their teacher. Students may leave the camp only if their parents have given written permission.

English lessons:
The English program includes 20 lessons per week, each lasting 50 minutes. They take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The average class size is 14, and students can be placed in 5 different levels according to their language proficiency.

Extracurricular activities:
The extracurricular program takes place every day after the English lessons. Students can visit various tourist destinations such as museums, the center of Oxford and shops, and enjoy a variety of games organized by the staff.
Students also take part in various projects – group or individual. These projects may include doing research, interviewing university lecturers, taking part in charity events and more. Students will have the chance to show their talents, use their imagination and be creative.

Prices and program start dates:

Students can join the camp every week from 16.07 to 06.08.2017.

Fee per participant for a two-week program:

  • Individual participant - £1560;
  • For a group of at least 12 children - £1400.
