With more than 40 years of experience and hard work, the Lorenzo de’ Medici Institute ranks among the most renowned and sought-after institutions of higher education in Europe. Students can choose from 500 subjects in 38 fields of study, taught in English, in three of the country's top destinations: Rome, Florence and Tuscany. There are six main divisions of study: Humanities and Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Agronomy, Applied Arts, Design, and Italian Language and Culture.
The Lorenzo de’ Medici Institute is also one of the most renowned language training centers in Italy. Groups are relatively small, with no more than 12 people, so that every learner can take an active part in the tasks. Emphasis is placed on discussions and role plays, which help learners build on what they have learned and enrich their vocabulary. Learning a foreign language is directly linked to the culture of the country, which is why the courses include an introduction to Italian literature, music and cinema. Visits to local shopping streets and universities are also organized, where students have the chance to talk with locals.
The Lorenzo de’ Medici Institute also offers preparation for the Certificate of Professional Proficiency in Italian.
