Anglophiles Academic is a language center that offers language camps and adventure at the same time. It has been on the market for almost 40 years, organizing English language courses in the UK, France, Ireland, the USA, Canada, China and other countries. Its mission is to provide high-quality teaching and valuable experience for young people – to introduce them to new challenges and enrich their lives with emotion and enjoyment.
The English & High School, Canada program has centers in the Canadian cities of Cambridge, Guelph and Waterloo, located in Ontario, an hour and a half from Toronto.
The program places the student in a public school in Canada. Each student in the program is matched with a High School Class "buddy" who helps them integrate and immerse themselves in the Canadian way of high school life. Students spend 3 days a week at school and take part in all lessons. Attendance is mandatory.
The stay includes one full-day excursion per week, including visits to Niagara Falls, Wonderland – Canada's largest amusement park – and the CNN Tower; and one half-day excursion to "A Native Canadian Culture Day" at a Conservation Heritage Site, where students can learn more about Canada's first inhabitants and go canoeing on the Historic Grand River. There are also sports activities – swimming, tennis, table tennis, squash, bowling and more.
Students stay with specially selected Canadian families who provide 3 meals a day.
