Bucksmore Oxford – St. Hilda's College

The Bucksmore Oxford intensive course is designed for students aged 14-17 who want to study English intensively. The program combines study with fun activities, which makes it attractive to applicants from all over the world. Groups of 8 to 11 people are formed, and all levels are accepted – from beginner to advanced.

The program includes intensive language courses, project work, organized cultural excursions and academic courses. During the course, discussions are held on various topics related to the culture, history and life of the country. In this way, while learning the language, students also gain insight into the way of life in the country. The academic courses prepare students for various exam formats (for certificates, university applications, etc.), and at the end of the program they take a Bucksmore certificate exam. Participants can choose one subject that interests them (history, literature, science, etc.) and study it entirely in English (90 minutes per week). The project work is done in groups and presented to the other participants.

Each week there are 2 full-day excursions and one half-day excursion to cultural and tourist sights with qualified guides who tell the students about the history of each place. Among the most interesting destinations are London, Cambridge, Blenheim Palace and more. Fun activities, sports events, artistic and musical performances and more are an essential part of every summer program.
