The course offers an unforgettable summer experience in central London combined with professional language tuition. Applicants must be aged between 14 and 17, regardless of their language level – the courses cover all levels. Groups of 8 to 11 people are formed.
The program includes language and academic courses, specialized lessons on the history and development of London, organized trips and sightseeing tours. Students have the opportunity to practice what they have learned during the group projects they prepare and present to the others. This teaches them cooperation and teamwork.
Excursions take place in the afternoon after the language classes and aim to show students the most important places in London and introduce them to their history and significance. Such places include Buckingham Palace, the London Dungeon, authentic theaters and more. Excursions outside London are also organized – to Oxford, Brighton, Cambridge and elsewhere. The language course takes place in central London, so participants have the chance to see even more places, accompanied by teachers who will also tell them about the history of the sights.
In the afternoons there are also sports tournaments, fun events and entertainment, during which participants have the chance to practice the language in a completely relaxed, real-life environment.
The program fee is £1300 per week. It includes:
- Welcome and orientation on arrival;
- A one-week language course (22.5 hours) + study materials;
- A London travel card;
- Excursions (1 full-day outside London + several around London) and entertainment;
- A ticket to a musical;
- Study bags, participant card and participant wristband;
- A certificate of participation at the end of the program.
Accommodation is also included in the program price:
- Airport pick-up and transfer;
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner;
- Insurance;
- Laundry;
- Internet.
The only thing not included in the price is pocket money.
