A course suited to children aged 14 to 16 who love art in all its forms and expressions. The teachers are local professionals who will introduce students to art from its origins to its development today.
The language tuition is suitable for applicants at intermediate level or higher. Groups have 8 to 11 people, which encourages every participant to take an active part. The program includes high-level language tuition covering all the key components: listening and reading comprehension, speaking and writing. Discussions are held and projects are prepared and presented to an audience.
Every week, 2 full-day excursions and one half-day excursion are organized to cultural and tourist attractions with qualified guides who tell students the history of each place. Among the most interesting destinations are London, Cambridge, Blenheim Palace and others. An essential part of every summer program is the entertainment, sporting events, artistic and musical performances and more.
Alongside the language tuition, the course offers 9 hours per week of elective arts courses:
- Film and Cinema – Students will meet professionals from the film industry who will show them how a film is prepared and shot behind the scenes. At the end of the course, they will prepare and edit a film themselves;
- Dance – No previous experience is required for those who wish to enroll in this course. Professional dancers will prepare participants for a spectacular show that will be performed in front of an audience at the end of the program. Students can develop in a variety of styles: hip-hop, jazz, modern ballet and more;
- Applied arts – Those who choose this course will be able to practice drawing, modeling, pottery and many other art forms;
