Block Island is an island and a popular tourist resort area with beautiful beaches. The island is a small community with a warm feel where everyone watches out for one another.

The office worker position works in the main office and/or at the front hotel desk. Duties include working with other office staff in fielding calls and handling reservations, and includes miscellaneous side tasks. The host organization office staff have a higher degree of involvement in the business interactions and customer service. The majority of the work, though, will be with marina and resort customers.
